Prosaurolophus
Late
Cretaceous
North America
26 feet long
Was a member of the
Hadrosaur Family of 'Duckbills'. They were
a North American species that was part of
a group that migrated from Asia. There were
two types of Hadrosaurs, some had flat heads
while others had crested heads. The front
of the jaw was beak like and contained no
teeth, but the back of the jaw contained banks
of tightly packed teeth. As old teeth wore
down new ones took their place.
