Triceratops

 

• Late Cretaceous
• North America
• 30 feet long and weighted 11 tons (22,000 pounds)

• Belonged to the same group of 'Horned' dinosaurs as Styracosaurus. Triceratops was the largest and most common and heaviest of the group. The frill on Triceratops did not have the spikes that Styracosaurus.
