This was the largest
terrestrial carnivore to walk on the earth.
They weighted in at 8 ton (16,000 pounds).
It had a head that was 4 feet long filled
with 6 inch long teeth. There are two theories
of their feeding habits. Some feel they were
scavengers, while others believe they were
predators.
